Personal Statement:
I have always been consumed by the fine arts. When younger I would be so absorbed by an art project that I would spend days in my room and be frustrated with interruptions, such as having to eat, sleep or attend school. Several techniques have evolved significantly since my initial experiences with pencil and paper in those early days. Through many years of practice, I believe I have gained a good knowledge base for form development, use of light and shadow, and composition balance.
Between the years of 2003 and 2005, I lived and worked in Europe. I feel that my experience there has significantly affected/improved/changed the style and emotion of my work.
